Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Bardzo rzadki gatunek, opisany z Gór Marmaroskich w Karpatach Wewnętrznych; znany dotychczas ze Słowacji i rumuńskich Karpat. W Polsce wykazany z jednej samicy złowionej 4 IX 1972 r. w dolinie Terebowca; przy czym przez pomyłkę (L. Borowiec in litt.) podano błędnie cechy wyróżniające ten gatunek; właściwy fragment winien mieć następujący tekst: «Gatunek ten jest bardzo podobny do znanego wcześniej z Polski Triplax scutellaris Charpentier, 1825. różni się od niego bardziej krępym ciałem, jasną tarczką i wyraźnie wyciętym przednim brzegiem śródpiersia». Bionomia i wymagania ekologiczne nie są poznane.
