Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w Europie południowej i środkowej (zwłaszcza w jej części południowej). W Polsce znany tylko z siedmiu krain, przy czym od przeszło 50 lat nie notowany. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich. Spotykany na ogół rzadko. Bionomia tego gatunku nie została poznana. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano na pniach i gałęziach, w dziuplach starych drzew oraz na różnych krzewach.
