Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Być może, że do tego właśnie gatunku odnoszą się dane zoocecydiologiczne z Niziny Wielkopolsko-Kujawskiej (Szulczewski 1933, Urbański 1935) i Śląska Górnego (Szulczewski 1929), które podano pod nazwą Rhopalosiphum dianthi Schrk. Europa: Anglia, Szwecja, Dania, Francja, Holandia, Belgia, Niemcy, Polska, Włochy, europejska część ZSRR.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Monofag na jaskrze rozłogowym — Ranunculus repens L. Żeruje na spodniej stroje liści.
