Taxon description

Heintze 1990:

Motyl rzadziej spotykany od poprzednich, jednak w niektórych środowiskach otwartych dość pospolity. Lata w dwu pokoleniach: od końca IV do połowy VI oraz w VII i VIII. Gąsienice żerują na roślinach krzyżowych wielu gatunków, jak np. rzeżucha, nasturcja i inne. Obserwować je można w VI i w letnim pokoleniu w VIII i IX. W hodowli można uzyskać całkowite trzecie pokolenie motyli w drugiej połowie IX. Zimują poczwarki w oprzędach na ziemi.
