Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w środkowej i południowo-wschodniej części Europy; wykazywany ponadto z Anglii, Algierii i Azji Mniejszej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju. Gatunek monofagiczny, żerujący w powojniku pnącym — Clematis vitalba L. Żerowisko typu gwiaździstego, o przebiegu podłużnym, wyraźnie zaznaczone w bielu.
