Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południową i środkową Europę, nadto wykazywany z południowej Anglii i kilku prowincji południowych Szwecji i Finlandii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich w lasach liściastych, zwłaszcza bukowych i dębowych. Znajdowany w dziuplach pni i pniaków, pod zmurszałą korą, w hubach, pod przegrzybiałym listowiem, a wiosną na kwitnących roślinach pod starymi drzewami.
