Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony od Włoch i Jugosławii przez Francję i kraje środkowoeuropejskie po Danię i południową Szwecję. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Żyje w martwych gałęziach dębu szypułkowego — Quercus robur L., dębu bezszypułkowego — Q. sessilis Ehrh., dębu omszonego — Q. pubescens Willd. i buka zwyczajnego — Fagus silvatica L. Postacie dojrzałe spotykano także pod odstającą korą, w ściółce i w wiązkach chrustu.
