Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony od Francji przez środkową i południową Europę aż do zachodniej Syberii i Zakaukazia, nadto notowany z północnej Afryki, Wysp Brytyjskich i jednej południowej prowincji Szwecji. Uważany przez niektórych badaczy za gatunek halofilny albo halobiontyczny. Występuje głównie w bajorkach, mokradłach i rozlewiskach, często w zbiornikach morskiego pasa przybrzeżnego.
