Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w zachodniej i południowej części Europy, poza tym rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany w środkowej i południowej części środkowej Europy. W Polsce notowany tylko raz przed przeszło 60 laty z jednego stanowiska. Występuje na terenach kserotermicznych. Omyłkowo wykazany z Beskidów (Gerhardt 1910) — dane te, jak wykazał W. Kolbe (1918), odnoszą się do Alevonota gracilenta (Er.). Również ogólnikowa wzmianka o występowaniu omawianego gatunku w «Guberni Piotrkowskiej» (Jakobson 1909) budzi wątpliwości.
