Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1979:
Pospolity gatunek palearktyczny, rozmieszczony szeroko w Europie, na Zakaukaziu, w Azji Środkowej i Mongolii oraz na Syberii i Dalekim Wschodzie. Polifag, znaleziony u nas na glistniku — Chelidonium maius, kapuście — Brassica oleracea L., wilczomleczu — Euphorbia amygdaloides L. i gruszyczce — Pirola chlorantha Sw. Ma kilka pokoleń w roku i zimuje w postaci imago. Żeruje zawsze po dolnej stronie liści i tworzy zwarte kolonie. Notowany jako szkodnik warzyw, głównie kapusty.
