Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południową i środkową część Europy, zwłaszcza na obszarach górzystych, znany również z Wysp Brytyjskich i nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części Fennoskandii, poza tym wykazywany z Kaukazu i zachodniej Syberii. Zasiedla suche, nasłonecznione gleby o dużej domieszce części kamienistych i gliniastych, występuje przeważnie na różnego typu południowych pochyłościach i skarpach, unika gleb piaszczystych. Rozmieszczenie w Polsce słabo poznane, zwłaszcza na północy kraju, w ogóle rzadko spotykany, znajdowany głównie na południu.
