Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek o zasięgu obejmującym całą Europę Środkową, na południe dochodzi do Pirenejów, północnych Włoch oraz Bośni, na północy zaś do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowej części Fennoskandii, wykazywany również z Kaukazu, Syberii i północnej części Mongolii. Żyje zawsze na suchych glebach piaszczystych skąpo porośniętych niską roślinnością, spotykany często na ruchomych wydmach nadmorskich i śródlądowych.
