Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony w Europie środkowej i w europejskiej części ZSRR, na północ sięgający do południowych prowincji Szwecji, Finlandii oraz Karelii. W Polsce chrząszcz bardzo rzadko spotykany, notowany tylko z trzech krain. Bionomia tego gatunku poznana jest słabo. Pojaw postaci dojrzałych zaczyna się w maju i trwa do sierpnia. Poławiano je na kwiatach baldaszkowatych oraz roślinach należących do rodzajów: pięciornik — Potentilla L. i przytulia — Galium L.
