Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek szeroko rozpowszechniony w prawie całej Europie, w Fennoskandii sięgający do skrajnych prowincji północnych, a na południu kontynentu występujący przeważnie tylko w leśnej strefie górskiej. W Polsce znany z terenów nizinnych i ze strefy reglowej w górach, nie notowany jednak z Tatr, Pienin i Bieszczadów. Poławiany w starych, próchniejących pniakach, pod odstającą korą drzew iglastych i liściastych, na hubach nadrzewnych, pod butwiejącymi liśćmi i wśród mchów.
