Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący północną część Palearktyki, w Europie w miarę posuwania się od północy ku krajom śródziemnomorskim coraz rzadziej i lokalnie spotykany. W Polsce, prócz wyższych partii górskich, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju. Znajdowany pod gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi, w nawozie i w pryzmach kompostowych.
