Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej części Europy, znany poza tym z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii, południowej Fennoskandii oraz z Syberii. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany, wykazany z pojedynczych stanowisk tylko w pięciu krainach. Wymagania środowiskowe słabo poznane, poławiany przeważnie w grzybach.
