Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Afryki Północnej aż do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii, wykazany również ze wschodniej części Indii. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk, przy czym większość danych o rozmieszczeniu pochodzi z ubiegłego lub z początku bieżącego stulecia. Pojawia się od lata do późnej jesieni na terenach lesistych; w górach sięga górnej granicy lasu. Poławiany pod opadłym listowiem, wśród mchów i w gnijących grzybach — gromadnie w opieńce miodowej — Armillariella mellea (Fr.) P. Karst.
