Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, notowany z południowo-wschodniej części Europy Środkowej, południowego Tyrolu, Chorwacji, Ukraińskiej SRR i Mołdawskiej SRR. W Polsce znany tylko z okolic Przemyśla. Wprawdzie T. Trella (1930) wykazał tego sprężyka z dwu stanowisk w Beskidzie Wschodnim (Trzcieniec i Szechynie), ale miejscowości te leżą tuż za naszą obecną granicą, kilka kilometrów na wschód od Medyki. Inni autorzy podawali krótkie ogólnikowe wzmianki o występowaniu w Przemyślu oraz „od Podola po San". W zbiorze T. Trelli, przechowywanym w Zakładzie Zoologii Systematycznej i Doświadczalnej PAN w Krakowie, znajdują się 23 okazy omawianego gatunku z okolic Przemyśla, ale bez bliższych danych. Powyższe ustalenia upoważniają do zaliczenia A. jejunus Kiesenw. do fauny naszego kraju. Bionomia słabo poznana. Na Ukrainie występuje głównie w strefie lasostepu, docierając wzdłuż lasów łęgowych do południowych obszarów strefy stepowej. Według M. Łomnickiego (1903) w okolicy Lwowa „Bardzo pospolity na wzgórzach trawiastych i zaroślach, tak w mieście jak najbliższej okolicy". Larwy znajdowano w glebie leśnej i pól uprawnych; notowano je także jako szkodniki kultur rolniczych.
