Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony w całej niemal Europie prócz skrajnych części północnych, notowany również z Maroka, Azji Mniejszej i Syberii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozmieszczonych w różnych częściach kraju. Zasiedla głównie obszary nizinne, a lokalnie tereny górzyste. Znajdowany na suchych zboczach, łąkach i pobrzeżach lasu — pod rozkładającymi się materiałami pochodzenia roślinnego (trawa, siano, liście, drewno), poza tym poławiany na kwitnących roślinach baldaszkowatych oraz pojedynczo pod gnijącymi grzybami oraz w napływkach.
