Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, gdyż przez niektórych, autorów uważany za synonim A. (A.) mesomela (Herbst); notowany ze środkowej i zachodniej części Europy oraz z Syberii. W Polsce znany z zachodniej części kraju, przy czym z niektórych krain notowany na podstawie znalezisk sprzed przeszło stu lat, dlatego też występowanie na tych obszarach winno być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Zasiedla łąki bagniste, torfowiska, pobrzeża wód stojących i bieżących. Spotykany pod ściętymi trawami i trzcinami oraz pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi i napływkami.
