Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek zamieszkujący zachodnią i środkową Europę, poza tym znany z Wysp Brytyjskich i kilku prowincji w Finlandii, wykazywany również z Kaukazu. Zasiedla pobrzeża rzek i potoków głównie na terenach wyżynnych. Dawniejsze dane o występowaniu w północnej Polsce odnoszą się prawdopodobnie do obszaru Litewskiej SRR. Według J. Roger a (1856) wzmianka A. Kelch a (1846) o występowaniu tego gatunku koło Ustronia polega na błędnym oznaczeniu.
