Taxon description
Gatunek pospolity, szeroko rozsiedlony, w Europie sięgający do skrajnej północy, poza tym obejmujący swym zasięgiem północną Azję i Amerykę Północną, wykazywany również z Kaukazu. Spotykany na glebach różnych typów, zasiedla otwarte, miernie wilgotne tereny, niekiedy w dalszej odległości od wody, częsty na gruntach uprawnych i nieużytkach, w górach przekracza górną granicę lasu.
