Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, znany dotychczas z zachodniej i południowej części środkowej Europy, Francji i północnych Włoch. W Polsce notowany na podstawie znalezisk sprzed przeszło stu laty zaledwie z kilku stanowisk w zachodniej części kraju. O występowaniu w okolicy Szczecina i na Śląsku Górnym wątpi A. Horion (1963). Ogólnikowa wzmianka o zasiedleniu Karpat nie dotyczy naszego terenu i oparta jest na stanowiskach leżących na wschód od naszej granicy. Wobec braku okazów dowodowych, występowanie w Polsce winno byó potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Znajdowany wśród mchów na glebie piaszczysto-torfowej w dolinach rzecznych, pod napływkami, na skarpach dołów po wydobytym piasku lub żwirze.
