Taxon description
Borealno-górski gatunek europejski, docierający do Półwyspu Kolskiego i skrajnych prowincji północnych Fennoskandii, w środkowej Europie o ograniczonym zasięgu przeważnie do gór i podgórzy. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk. Występuje nad brzegami rzek i jezior na miejscach piaszczystych, gołych lub skąpo porosłych niską roślinnością.
