Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek o szerokim rozsiedleniu; od północnej Afryki przez prawie całą Europę dochodzi do południowej części Fennoskandii, notowany nadto z Madery oraz Kaukazu. W Polsce znany ze stosunkowo nielicznych stanowisk. Omyłkowo wykazany przez T. Trellę (1926) z okolic Przemyśla na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia, odnośne okazy dowodowe sprawdzone przez J. Makólskiego należą do Bradycellus (Bradycellus) csikii Laczó. Żyje głównie na utrwalonych wydmach śródlądowych i nadmorskich, wykazywany również z torfowisk i wrzosowisk. Lubi niezbyt suche gleby piaszczyste z domieszką próchnicy, nie unika silniejszego ocienienia.
