Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, gdyż do niedawna był traktowany jako synonim B. unicolor (Oliv.). Dotychczas stwierdzono pewne występowanie omawianego gatunku w południowej Hiszpanii, Francji, Holandii, RFN, Jugosławii i Polsce, skąd znany jest tylko z trzech południowych krain. Bionomia oraz rośliny żywicielskie larw nie są poznane.
