Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Motyl dość pospolity, pojawia się w dwu pokoleniach, w niezbyt wyraźnie od siebie oddzielonych okresach występowania. Pierwsze pokolenie od poł. IV do końca VI, drugie — od pocz. VII do pocz. IX. Gąsienice żerują na lnicy pospolitej od V do IX. Oprzęd, cienki i mocny, barwy ciemnobrązowej, gąsienica buduje na ziemi lub częściej na przyziemnych częściach roślin, między liśćmi a źdźbłami.
