Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w północnej i środkowej Europie, na południe sięgający do Francji, Włoch i północnej części Półwyspu Bałkańskiego; na ogół dość pospolity, ale w miarę posuwania się z północy na południe coraz rzadziej spotykany. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, nie notowany jednak jeszcze z wielu krain. Występuje na wilgotnych miejscach, na pobrzeżach wód, łąkach, obrzeżach lasu, pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, opadłym listowiem i płatami mchu.
