Taxon description
Gatunek pospolity, rozsiedlony w prawie całej Europie (prócz skrajnych części północnych), wykazany nadto z Egiptu, Himalajów i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Występuje w wilgotnych środowiskach, zwłaszcza na szlamistych pobrzeżach wód pod kamieniami i rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
