Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii przez środkową i południową Europę aż do północnej Afryki, notowany również z wysp Azorskich i Kaukazu. Znajdowany w ekskrementach, zwłaszcza na pastwiskach oraz pod wyrzuconymi morszczynami na brzegu morskim.
