Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek do niedawna nie notowany w środkowej części Europy i nie zaliczony przez A. Horiona (1949) do chrząszczy środkowoeuropejskich, chociaż opisany został przed 140 laty. W monografii omawianego rodzaju (Endrödy-Younga 1960) wykazany jako występujący nierzadko w całej Europie z wyjątkiem najbardziej północnych i południowych części. W Polsce notowany dotychczas tylko w wymienionej monografii z pojedynczych stanowisk w czterech krainach południowych; przy tym miejscowość Krościenko jako „Krościenko" jest podana błędnie z Czechosłowacji. Warunki środowiskowe nie znane.
