Taxon description
Gatunek pontyjsko-pannoński, który zamieszkuje basen Dunaju, Ukrainę, Krym, Kaukaz i południową część Azji palearktycznej. W Polsce z całą pewnością jeszcze nie stwierdzony, jednak możliwy do odkrycia w południowo-wschodniej części kraju, gdyż znane są stanowiska na Podolu i w Słowacji, notowany z Niziny Mazowieckiej na podstawie wzmianki L.F. Hildta (1896), ale dane te nie zostały potwierdzone udokumentowanymi materiałami. Występuje głównie na terenach stepowych. Wieczorem przylatuje do światła. Żywi się prawdopodobnie podziemnymi grzybami.
