Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w środkowej i północnej Europie, w Fennoskandii sięgający do skrajnej północy, w południowej Europie spotykany rzadko i sporadycznie. Z Polski wykazany z nielicznych stanowisk w północnej i południowej części kraju. Omyłkowo notowany z Jelitkowa koło Gdańska (Lentz 1879), odnośny okaz dowodowy, jak wykazał G. Czwalina (1885), należał do Colon (Myloechus) calcaratum Er. Na ogół poławiany pojedynczo od końca maja do połowy września.
