Taxon description
Rozmieszczenie ogólne niedostatecznie poznane, gdyż mylono omawiany gatunek z Colon (Myloechus) zebei Kr. i Colon (Myloechus) barnevillei Kr. notowany ze środkowej i północnej Europy, w Fennoskandii sięgający do skrajnych prowincji północnych. Z Polski wykazywany rzadko i sporadycznie z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Łowiony przeważnie razem z Colon (Myloechus) zebei Kr. od połowy sierpnia do połowy października, na wilgotnych glebach próchnicznych, w których rozwijały się podziemne grzyby.
