Taxon description
Gatunek znany z południowej i środkowej części Europy, notowany nadto z Danii, Szwecji południowej oraz z zachodniej części Afryki Północnej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje w starych pniach drzew liściastych, zwłaszcza dębów. Cykl rozwojowy prawdopodobnie dwuletni.
