Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1987:

Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie kraje śródziemnomorskie oraz południową część Europy środkowej, wykazywany również z Wysp Kanaryjskich, Kaukazu, Syrii i Zabajkala. W Europie środkowej wszędzie rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych miejscowości tylko w sześciu krainach. Spotykany przeważnie w chodnikach różnych gatunków korników żerujących pod korą drzew iglastych, zwłaszcza sosen.
