Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony w północnej i środkowej części Europy oraz w znacznej części Syberii; w Fennoskandii docierający do skrajnych prowincji północnych. W Polsce chrząszcz bardzo rzadki, znany tylko z siedmiu krain, na ogół na podstawie pojedynczych znalezisk sprzed przeszło stu lat. Chrząszcz spotykany w maju na brzozach.
