Taxon description
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, notowany z Danii (terra typica!), Szwecji, Norwegii, RFN, NRD, Polski i Czechosłowacji. Wszędzie rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, wykazywany przeważnie z pojedynczych stanowisk. W Polsce należy do wielkich rzadkości, znany tylko z jednego stanowiska. Bionomia i wymagania ekologiczne poznane niedostatecznie. Znajdowany w ściętych gałęziach jesionu opanowanego przez kornika — jesionowca pstrego — Leperisinus fraxini (Panz.), w butwiejącym drewnie starych dębów zasiedlonych przez mrówki Lasius brunneus (Latr.) oraz w piwnicach i pryzmach kompostowych.
