Taxon description
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w Europie od krajów śródziemnomorskich do Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii, południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii, notowany poza tym z Kaukazu, Azji Środkowej, Algierii i Maroka. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie jest jeszcze znany z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju. Spotykany na terenach nizinnych i w górach po strefę alpejską; poławiany na brzegach lasów, w widnych zaroślach i na łąkach. Żyje na złocieniu właściwym — Chrysanthemum leucanthemum L. Bionomia tego gatunku i cykl rozwojowy nie są znane.
