Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający głównie Karpaty, docierający na zachód do Sudetów i Alp Wschodnich. W Polsce rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w ośmiu krainach południowych. Zasiedla obszary górzyste, docierając do strefy subalpejskiej. Bionomia tego chrząszcza nie jest poznana. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano na różnych gatunkach roślin zielnych.
