Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południowo-wschodnią Europę, na zachód docierający do południowego Tyrolu, a na północ przez Węgry i Austrię do Czechosłowacji. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony, a najbliższe jego stanowiska leżą na Morawach i w Słowacji. Dawne wzmianki, sprzed przeszło 150 lat, o występowaniu na Śląsku nie znalazły później potwierdzenia. Występuje na stanowiskach o charakterze stepowym, na glebach piaszczystych i gliniastych pokrytych rzadką roślinnością trawiastą, niekiedy na miedzach lub poboczach pól uprawnych. Bionomia tego gatunku jest poznana niedostatecznie. Postacie dojrzałe ukazują się wczesną wiosną i są spotykane do połowy lipca.
