Taxon description
Rozmieszczony od Francji, północnych części Hiszpanii i Włoch przez Europę Środkową aż po Rumunię, Bułgarię i Turcję; notowany ponadto z zachodniej części Afryki Północnej. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w siedmiu krainach. Poławiany głównie na topoli białej — Populus alba L. i topoli czarnej — P. nigra L. oraz przypadkowo na wierzbie białej — Salix alba L. Cykl rozwojowy i bionomia nie są znane.
