Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w zachodniej Europie, północnej części środkowej Europy oraz w kilku południowych prowincjach Szwecji. Wszędzie bardzo rzadko spotykany. Omyłkowo wykazany przez F. Fejfera (1924) z Roztocza, według A. Szujeckiego (1960b) błędnie oznaczony okaz dowodowy należy do Phloeonomus monilicornis (Gyll.). O występowaniu w Prusach wątpi A. Horion (1963). Znajdowany na kwitnących głogach, pod odstającą korą buków i w chodnikach myszy pod starymi lipami. W Polsce dotychczas z całą pewnością jeszcze nie stwierdzony. Również omyłkowo wykazany z Niziny Mazowieckiej (Szujecki 1960b, Horion 1963), co obecnie się prostuje (A. Szujecki*).
