Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Gatunek wątpliwy, od chwili opisania ponownie nie znaleziony. Rodzaj Elaphopus Menge obejmuje tylko omawiany gatunek i jest prawdopodobnie blisko spokrewniony z rodzajem Saloca Sim.
