Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Pospolitszy od E. rivata, żyjący w dwu pokoleniach, w różnych środowiskach: na brzegach lasów, polanach leśnych, prześwitach i nasłonecznionych zboczach i ugorach. Pojawia się od IV do VI oraz w VII i VIII. Gąsienice, których rośliną żywicielską jest przytulia, spotkać można pojedynczo od VI do IX. Zimują poczwarki jak u poprzednich gatunków (E. tristata, E. rivata, E. alternata). W hodowli można uzyskać 3 generację motyli w X i XI.
