Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie środkową i północną Europę, w Fennoskandii sięgający daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, a na południe do Pirenejów, Włoch i północnego Bałkanu. W Polsce znany jest tylko z południowej części kraju. Znajdowany w murszejącym drewnie, pod korą, wśród mchów porastających drzewa liściaste i iglaste.
