Taxon description
Gatunek górski, stosunkowo niedawno opisany na podstawie obfitych materiałów z włoskiej części Alp Wschodnich oraz z czterech okazów z czeskich Karkonoszy. Notowany z Alp Karnickich, Taurów, Gór Kruszczowych i Tatr. W Polsce dotychczas nie stwierdzony. Ogólnikowe wzmianki z Polski, Karkonoszy i Tatr są oparte na danych z terenu Słowacji i Czech. Biologia nie jest poznana, w Alpach Wschodnich chrząszcze poławiano na wysokościach 1030-2500 m n.p.m.
