Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Szeroko rozmieszczony gatunek euro-syberyjski, obejmujący swym zasięgiem prawie całą Europę z wyjątkiem jej skrajnych części południowych, na wschód sięgający do Chin, Kamczatki i Wysp Kurylskich. W Polsce dość pospolity, ale rzadko spotykany. Występuje głównie w strefie przybrzeżnej stałych, dużych zbiorników wodnych, niekiedy spotykany w wolno płynących wodach.
