Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 2000:

Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w północnej części Europy, znany z Fennoskandii, Karelii, Danii, w Szwecji docierający do koła podbiegunowego, ze środkowej części kontynentu notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w krajach Beneluksu, w Niemczech, Czechach, Morawach, na Słowacji i w Austrii. W Polsce stwierdzony na czterech stanowiskach w dwu krainach. Rusak ten związany jest z terenami leśnymi, gdzie występuje w owocnikach grzybów; wykazywany z maślaka zwyczajnego — Suillus luteus (L. ex Fr.) S.F. Gray, rycerzyka czerwonozłotego — Tricholomopsis rutilans (Schaeff.) Sing. Niekiedy poławiany licznie, na przykład B. Staniec (1995c) w połowie września na klejku lepkim — Chroogomphus rutilans (Schaeff. Fr.) złowił 78 okazów.
