Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej i północnej Europie oraz w części północnej południowej Europy, wykazywany też z Zakaukazia i Syberii. W Fennoskandii sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, w Polsce częściej spotykany na północy kraju. Występuje głównie w zbiornikach torfowiskowych, znajdowany jednak również w jeziorach.
